Dr. Sisir Ranjan Das is a distinguished cardiac and cardiothoracic surgeon with over 47 years of clinical and academic experience. He completed his MBBS (1972) and MS in General Surgery (1978) from Gauhati Medical College, followed by an MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1985. Dr. Das has made significant contributions to cardiac surgery, clinical training, and paramedical education, having served as Associate Professor in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital until his retirement in 2002. Since 2015, he has been a Senior Consultant in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati, continuing his dedication to patient care, surgical excellence, and academic mentorship.
